Oil is the most sustained and deliberate medium within my practice. Its capacity for layering and revision enables prolonged engagement with composition, spatial relationships, and the interaction between figures. The paintings frequently centre on human presence within shared spaces, where posture, proximity, and gesture function as compositional anchors. Time is embedded through accumulation, allowing images to develop gradually rather than arrive at resolution.
